Welcome Elite Maison
Forget the clutter. Learn how to transform your living room’s center stage into a curated, architectural landscape.
A coffee table in a modern home is more than just a place to set a drink. It is the visual anchor of the lounge, the landscape that defines the energy of the room. At Elite Maison, we treat the coffee table as a masterclass in balance and curation.
A successful "landscape" shouldn't look designed; it should look inevitable. We teach a repeatable formula based on three foundational principles of home staging and mindful design.
The most common mistake in coffee table styling is having a landscape that is too "flat." Every surface needs an anchor—a singular object of height. This is typically achieved with a tall, sculptural vase. Without a high point, the eye has nowhere to land, and the table feels chaotic.
"When we stage a multi-million dollar property, we look for scale. On a large table, we don't use small objects. We use massive, architectural books and statement vases that can match the room's energy." — Samantha Senia
The human brain naturally seeks visual harmony in odd numbers. When arranging objects, always group them in threes (or fives, for very large surfaces). Group these objects together to form a "cluster." A cluster might consist of a stack of books, a candle, and a decorative object.
This is where the "mindful" aspect of our design philosophy comes to life. To keep a modern table (like our stone or steel collections) from feeling cold, you must introduce textural contrast. Balance sleek, structured items (like polished brass or geometric trays) with soft, organic items (like a natural wood bowl or fresh green foliage).
